The Commuter Alternative Program will be "gearing up" for National Bike Month with free bike checks and giveaways on April 26 at the Gift Plaza.
The Commuter Alternative Program rewards faculty, staff and students who choose to take the bus, join a rideshare, ride a bike or walk to campus. Sustainable transportation options improve air quality, build community and reduce traffic congestion to make everyone’s commute better.

The Tar Heel 10 Miler race will affect traffic on campus and in Chapel Hill the morning of Saturday, April 20. Impacts will include road closures and traffic diversions/detours.
Chapel Hill Transit and Point-to-Point (P2P) will implement service changes March 9-16 for spring break.
